I want to wish everyone a “Happy Father’s Day 2023” this morning. Let’s all stand and thank the Lord for our fathers giving them honor like the Word commands! But let’s honor the Lord who is our Father in Heaven first and foremost this day!

Last week in session 9 of the series we looked at “"Seeking, Setting, Seeing" and that lays the foundation to be able to put on Christ completely in our daily lives! In 1 Corinthians 15:40-53, Paul talks about the difference between the earthly man and the celestial man. He describes that there are both celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies. The glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. As we covered last week our old man is dead and now we are to walk in the newness of life completely!

*Read Romans 6:4 (KJV) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
