Our Mission Statement is: “Enter to Worship, Leave Serve.”
Leaving to Serve is very important to us as a church, our number one goal is to worship God together and serve people in as many ways as we can.
The reason we are putting this on here is not to boast on what we do but to show you where your money goes if you chose to donate to VWC.
Our staff doesn’t take any salary, so any money that comes into the church goes to paying bills or these outreaches.
Blessing Box
We have a blessing box placed in our front Parking lot that we keep food and toiletry items free to take for those who need it.
Change for Change
This is a big part of our Children’s Program. We have a big five gallon jug that we are filling with pocket change to help foster kids and families and other children in need in our community.
Community Outreaches
We try to be a very active part of the city of Dover. Helping where we can, our biggest outreach is weekly food distributions.
Gideon’s International
The Gideons International is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through associating together for service, sharing personal testimony, and by providing Bibles and New Testaments. While we are often recognized for our work with hotels, we also place and distribute Scriptures in strategic locations so they are available to those who want them, as well as to those who may not know they need them.
We support them by opening our doors to them to come once or twice a year, which we then give them a offering to help continue their ministry and give out Bibles.

We have partnered with these organizations to bless others with food and supplies here in our local communities.
