#1 BE Imitators

*Reread Eph. 5:1 – note “FOLLOWERS” (mim-ay-tace’) – (we get our English word mimic) an imitator: see same Greek word 1 Cor. 4:16 & 11:1.

#2 BE Loving

*Reread Eph. 5:2 – note “WALK” = TO LIVE IN and BY LOVE! – see same Greek word Matt 11:5- the lame because of the WORDS of Jesus “WALK” – truly live!

#3 BE Grateful

*Reread Eph. 5:3-4 – note “Thankful” = gratitude, worship to God – see same Greek word Col. 2:6-7- we are rooted & built up because we RECEIVED Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!

#4 BE Wise

*Reread Eph. 5:5-6 – note “Thankful” = gratitude, worship to God because you KNOW the truth!  *See Jams 1:26- no man including yourself will deceive you!

#5 BE Separate

*Reread Eph. 5:7 – note “PARTAKERS” = co-participant! – see 2 Cor. 6:17-18- (quoted from Isa. 52:11)we are of our Father not of this world any longer!
