"Living by and for the Lord" {Finding Freedom}

This morning the Apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit is going to challenge us for a reality check as to where our hearts are in everyday life! Our attitude truly does affect our altitude as it's been said! If we are truly living for the Lord we will by the Lord be empowered to live a life pleasing to Him! Notice this part of the chapter has to do with duty, we need to be as willing and eager as Private Gomer Pyle reporting for duty sir, 😂 lol!

*Reread last week's stopping point please to have truth to live by:

*Colossians 3:17 (KJV) And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name (power, character and authority) of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Praise the Lord I can live out the following verses by my Lord’s name, His name has all power and authority and all things bow to His name!

*Text: Colossians 3:18-25 (KJV) Wives (1), submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit (proper) in the Lord. [19] Husbands (2), love your wives, and be not bitter against them. [20] Children (3), obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. [21] Fathers (4), provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. [22] Servants (5), obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: [23] And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; [24] Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. [25] But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
