“BECOMING: A Godly Dad”

Any man can father child “BUT” it takes someone special to become a dad!

God is our perfect example of a “DAD” – so today let’s honor Him first and receive and give from Him!

#1 FOLLOW God
*Reread Ps. 103:13 – note “like” God – NOT the world – set a godly example! Read “Matt. 5:48 – “PERFECT” = complete, of full age! How? By “Matt. 19:21 by following Jesus one day at a time! Changed by the Word! {1 Cor. 11:1 -be followers}

#2 FORGIVE like God
*Reread Ps. 103:13-17 – note V.13 pitieth = to show forth MERCY, COMPASSION! see Luke 15:20-24 – love your children knowing where the Lord has brought you from NOT where you are now!

#3 FOSTER like God
*Reread Ps. 103:17-19 – note V.17 “unto CHILDREN’S CHILDREN”- hand down those things you have learned and received – {see Phil. 4:9.} note V.18 “to keep His covenant” (Jeremiah 1:12) Close with Matt 7:7-11 – power to ASK!
